Your Statutory rights are not affected by any of the following store policies. Ordering Online Ordering Online with us is safe and secure! We employ a fully SSL encrypted payment gateway using PROTX and Cardnet from Lloyds TSB Bank plc that ensures the safety of your credit card information. This online system is 100% secure. We encourage you to feel comfortable using your credit card to conduct commerce on our site. If you wish, you may also pay by Paypal, send us a Postal Order (made out to Nannotec Ltd.). We do not take personal cheques. Return and Refund Policy 1. If you change your mind and want to return an item You can change your mind for any reason within 7 working days of receiving your item and receive a refund for it if you follow our returns policy. This is called the 7 day cooling off period and applies to all sales to customers within the European Union only. This policy is designed to allow you to examine the goods as though you were at a physical store buying the goods in person. When returned, the item must be in the same condition as when it was received by you, unused and fully intact in its original manufacturer’s packaging. You must return the item to us in a condition which would allow us to put it back into stock, otherwise a minimum restocking charge of 25% of the purchase price will be made, or we will return the item to you at your cost. You must inform us of your intention to cancel within 7 working days of delivery of the item. You can contact us by email, fax or in writing. Contact details are listed below. It is your responsibility as the buyer to return the item to us at your cost. The return must be postmarked within 21 days of your notification to us. For your protection, to ensure the safe return of the item, we suggest that you return any item valued at over £40 with a tracking number such as that offered by Royal Mail Recorded Mail service. If you would like us to collect the item from you we can do so at a cost to you of £14.50 which is the cost charged to us by our collection agent. Where you are withdrawing from your purchase within the 7 day cooling-off period, and there has been no error on our part, we will refund the cost of the item and the cost of sending the item to you (delivery charge refund) as follows:
We will not refund your costs in returning the item to us and other services provided to you in connection with your purchase unless you return the item to us because of an error on our part or because it is defective. 2. If your item is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered If you receive an item that is different to what was described, or that is faulty or damaged, please contact us to report the defect or damage within 7 days of receiving the shipment. Contact details are listed below. We will ask you to return the item by our preferred method at that time and if you are a UK customer we will refund your return postage costs by that method. If you are an International customer you can return it by your own preferred method and you will bear the costs of return postage yourself. We will check all items returned as damaged or defective. If found to be damaged or defective we will replace the item at our cost, or if you prefer we will refund the cost of the item. For UK customers we will also refund the delivery charges incurred in sending the item to you and pay your costs of returning it to us. For international customers we will refund only standard (Airmail) postage charges for items delivered outside the UK and we will not refund any return postage costs incurred. If we find no fault in the item, we will either send it back to you at your cost, or make it available for your collection. General notes When writing to us to arrange to return an item, please be as descriptive as possible regarding the reason for return. Include your name, contact details and the invoice number to allow us to track the item. Failure to do this will mean that we may not be able to locate your details and process your item. Delivery Information Delivery charges are calculated on a per-product basis. Please make note of the delivery charges associated with each item. Our website pricing reflects our break-even-only P&P policy. We do not aim to make a profit out of our delivery charges. The price covers shipping costs plus packing costs. This is fairer and more transparent to you. Usually we will ship by Royal Mail 1st class post at no cost if the item is under 1KG in weight. Items over 1KG are shipped via Courier for next-day guaranteed delivery at no cost for UK Mainland delivery (For the Highlands there is a charge of £9.50). This is a signed-for service, so you will need to be available to take delivery. If the item cannot be delivered, the carrier will put a card through the door with contact information and make two further delivery attempts to your door on subsequent days. After this, they will keep the item at their local depot for one week for collection by you. If still not collected, they will return it to us and charge us £8.50+VAT which we will pass on to you. International shipments will be made by Royal Mail or an appropriate carrier. See the Delivery page for costs to other areas. Prices Goods are charged at the price shown on the product pages on the date the customer places the order and are inclusive of VAT. Prices are correct at time of publication. Errors and omissions are excepted. Orders will be processed at our published prices, otherwise, in the case of any unexpected change in price, you will be informed and asked if you wish to reconsider your order before proceeding. Complaints If we should receive a complaint about any part of our service, by phone,fax,e-mail or letter,then it will be dealt with promptly (we will reply within 5 working days).It will then be dealt with confidentially,and effectively.
