Description

Satgear satellite splitter for running 2 TV's from a single LNB connection. See diagram here: How do I setup 2 TV's in my caravan or motorhome using 1 satellite dish?

This kit includes:

  • Satgear Splitter
  • 2 x Satgear Window Cable Kits
  • Additional 10m Cable with fitted f-connector
  • 1 x short 1m satellite cable for external connection (included but may not be required)
  • 1 x short 1m satellite cable for internal connection (included but may not be required)

All cables are pre-made with connectors already fitted.

This kit is ideal for any single LNB satellite kit and is used to connect 2 TVs up to one satellite dish without the use of a Twin LNB. It is most often used along with Easyfind LNB's for people who want an Easyfind kit to work with two TV's at the same time (because Easyfind is only available on a single LNB).

It's a very simple setup. See the diagram in the link above.

HOW IS THIS KIT is different to using a Twin LNB:

Two TV's/Receivers can be connected to a single LNB connection and can be watched at the same time.

As a general rule, each TV needs to switched to the same channel for both to display. However, there are channels which will display individually on each TV. eg, it's possible to watch BBC 1 on the first TV and BBC2 on the second TV but if you switch one of the tv's to ITV the screen will go blank on the switched TV. This is because BBC 1 and BBC2 are broadcast on a different frequency to ITV. Other channels will display individually. it just depends on the frequency of each channel to be watched.

This of course is not a issue if one of the TV's is switched off altogether.
