Had a satellite receiver for about 10 years easy find but complicated set up decided to try this model. Set up is easy turn on the Tv and press ok then turn on easyfind just a couple of clicks Tv up and running , display shows the available English channels in order. What a difference between this system and the old one - wish I had had it years ago ! The wife is very pleased because she can search and find the required Tv show with no trouble did not miss a single episode of her favorite soaps for the duration of the holiday.

Received 60cm satellite kit within 3 days of ordering over the phone. Fairly easy to set up following instructions there was one tiny screw missing from LNB, but after phone call a replacement was quickly sent out. On setting dish up I couldn't get a signal on the satfinder, but after a further phone call, Darren explained how to test it and it was found to be faulty. A replacement was sent out straight away, and on receiving it the next day managed to set up dish with ease. Would recommend this company to anyone who wants a good quality dish and can set it up themselves. Am now picking up more freesat channels than before. Excellent product and service. Regards Paul.

I received my Vuesat system yesterday and set it up at home to test it out and was able to get a perfect picture on Sky Q within 15 minutes of opening the box. Really simple and easy to get started. great service from Satgear. They informed me that there might be a delay in delivery but kept me informed and it arrived on time. Just purchased the Viewsat Easybeam premium flat dish. The product came via parcel Force within the specified time. I followed the simple instructions and got to the stage where all cables were in the correct place. The dish was set at the recommended elevation and set in roughly the right direction. I turned on the Tv and receiver. The instructions said I should have No Signal sign showing which I did. The I should press info and then info again, which would turn on the easy find. Nothing happened. I went back over everything and tried again still nothing happened. I changed the batteries in the remote. Same again. Then my lad turned up and asked if I’d checked the source of input on my TV. I’m a technophobe and didn’t know what he meant. He just turned my TV to HDMI. Within 2 minutes I was watching Satelite TVwith a perfect picture. If I’d have known about the HDMI it would have taken a total of 10 minutes to set up. I would definitely recommend this dish kit

We’ve come away in the caravan to Hebden Bridge and I have just tried out the smartbeam. Despite the fact that it’s pointing at the caravan next door and there are plenty of trees about, Even better, although it ‘only’ said 79% the bars on the signal strength indicator on the skybox settings were maximum. I’ve never seen that before, even at home.

I purchased my Vuesat EasyBEAM Premium Portable Flat Panel Satellite Dish Kit in September 19 and used it for first time last week (Dec 19) in Braemar (North East Scotland). It was connected to an Avtex TV that supported Easyfind.
I found it very difficult to align it with the satellite. Any semblance of a signal, (yellow or green indication) was lost with rotational movement of less than 1mm in either direction. After much fiddling in the dark, it finally locked onto a stable signal. Thankfully, it wasn't too windy, so anchoring the tripod seemed unnecessary, which was just as well because any disturbance would have disturbed the reception. (Tried to anchor it down first, but couldn't get a signal without moving the whole thing.)
Notwithstanding the above difficulties, the quality of the picture was excellent and a wide range of channels was available. Interestingly, there was no signal on channels 1 and 2 (BBC), but equivalent channels were available elsewhere.
Although the basic system function was good, more technical work is needed in my view to improve the tuning process.

I purchased a Vuesat Smartbeam as I wanted to replace my conventional aerial, which sometimes struggled to receive a good signal on camp sites. I also wanted a system which was easy to set up and this ticked all the boxes.

Bought a SatVue EasyFind combo kit.
When it arrived the tripod was the wrong one, it was replaced the following day, great customer service.
As for the product itself, I have watched and chuckled at so many people trying to set up Satelite dishes on caravan sites but this was a real doddle. Literally up and running and watching TV within 5-10 minutes of starting to unpack the kit. SUPERB!

We purchased an EasyBeam Premium kit earlier this year.It does what it says on the tin.Once the general direction of the signal is established with a compass the set up is easy with our Avtex TV.In the UK it is a doddle and the signal is found in minutes.In France we found a signal as far south as a parallel with Valence and westwards but at times it took some tweaking of the dish inclination to get a better quality picture.Points to improve:the cable from the dish is too thin,tangles too easily and may not be very durable (- Satgear edit: thicker cable now supplied. The thin cable can be supplied on request) and a wing nut instead of a nut on the fixing to the tripod would be better. Worth the money as the kit is much more compact than an arm dish when packing away in our PVC MH.Fumbling with cold fingers I dropped the nut which secures the dish to the tripod and lost it.A phone call for a replacement proved that the after sales service was excellent.

We have a static caravan in Cumbria and for the last 2 years the TV reception has been sporadic. Decided to try a sat system for the first time. I went with this kit because it had everything in it and glad I did. Arrived next working day via DPD at 10.00 and by 11.00 I was watching the satellite TV at home. I decided to try a set up at home and once happy setup on the caravan. The bracket for the dish is a monster, its so well made it was overkill for the caravan. I used some old climbing frame rods for the caravan and within 10 minutes of arriving at the van was up a running. I used the flat cable to put the cable through the window (extra but well worth it) to save having to get under the van and altering the aerial in let. The receiver can record to a USB pen drive but (correct me if I'm wrong) but it's not dual channel. Great if there something on when your our. The quality of the recording was great and this was a nice bonus. The satellite finder was a great help. Thinking of getting one at home now. Thanks guys.

i was looking for a satellite system which would be easy to set up and use on the move. i inquired through customer service which system to purchase and satgear advised me to buy this system . at first i didnt think it would be so simply to set up and use . i set off with all my new kit and unpacked on camp site. The set up of stand and dish was straight forward and instructions explained excatly what to do and with in 5-10 mins i had picture on tv . The best bit of advice i could give to any one purchasing this system download the satellite finder app off the app store ,this will make setting up system so much easier if you know roughly the correct direction of satellite to start off with . First set elevation of dish ,and use your app to locate satellite direction and you have system running in minutes . well happy with product and recommend any one to buy this system with receiver .The easy find system makes whole process simple with the lights on back of dish to set up dish.
