Let's look at the two elements of the kit separately - ie the flat dish (and tripod) and the TV.

The Dish and Tripod

It's key feature is the compact size of only 44cm in diameter yet it is as powerful and equivalent to a 65cm dish. The dish is 'flat' meaning that it doesn't have an LNB Arm. The kit is fitted with an Easyfind LNB which nestles inside the back face of the dish. It is a direct focus system and the elevation markings are easy to read in 5 degree increments, eg. if you are in Scotland set it to the 20 degree mark and if in Southampton set to the 25 degree mark. The tolerance on this dish is excellent so the need for accuracy is not as finite as a traditional dish (in otherwords, much easier to align).

The dish is quickly fitted to the tripod (simply slotting and tightening into place when assembling together and it rotates smoothly and freely with an added feature of being raisable up to 1.5m according to your preferred height. The height is not a factor in the alignment (unless you need to see over a hedge). We describe the tripod as being deluxe because of its' design for smooth operation throughout. Even all the joints on the legs have special plastic washers to aid in the smooth operation. So there's no 'metal on metal' friction. The tripod also comes with rigid galvanised pegs for anchoring the system to the ground for stability in the wind and rain.  

20/24" LED Easyfind TV

The LED TV is a remarkable piece of kit in its' own right, being HD Ready for crystal sharp tv viewing. It also has Easyfind built in whih drives the light system on the dish. It can be mounted on the feet supplied with it or on a VESA standard mounting swivel arm system. We can supply this type of mounting separately if required.

The TV can also be used with DVB-T inputs so you can also connect it via an aerial.

For Satellite TV it comes pre-tuned and ready to go with all Freesat channels and additional channels too. So there are many to choose from including of course all the UK's favourites.

Where To Use

This kit is designed for use throughout the UK and Ireland and will also receive UK TV in northern France - from the Astra 2 satellite cluster (for UK Free to Air and SKY channels). If you are travelling further than mid France we recommend our 80cm kits, which will also receive UK down to the Spanish border.
